ICONET Kick Off Meeting

The ICONET Kick-off Meeting was held on 27th September 2018 at the Hotel Theoxenia Palace in Athens.

Makis Kouloumbis from Inlecom, the Project Manager opened the meeting and welcomed everyone; around 32 people attended from the Consortium representing the different partner companies. The objective of the meeting was for the project participants to familiarize themselves with ICONET’s vision and objectives, grant agreement structure, work streams, management and administrative processes, dissemination and capacity building approach.

ICONET is a research project and it was agreed to create an Innovation Management Board to ensure generation and formalization of Innovative ideas and manage the patent filing.

The project is divided into work packages as below:-

WP1 – ICONET PI Framework and Hubs

WP2 – Cloud-based PI Control and Management Platform

WP3 – PI Living Labs

WP4 – Impact, Commercialisation, Communication and Capacity building

WP5 – Project Management and Quality Assurance

The next Consortium meeting will take place at IBM premises in Ireland, on January 30th 2019
